Friday the 15th we left for Chewelah to spend the weekend with Stacy and Barbara, 187 miles, he added an RV pad on we had his property with 50 amp electricity. Saturday we celebrated his birthday, a long time since we've been together on his special day. We drove out in the countryside geo cacheing, picking up 12. Sunday, Father's Day started out nice, we had a lovely breakfast, I put Baby Back Ribs on the Traeger THEN the power went out in the area and at the same time we lost the battery power in the coach. I suppose better there than on the road but the guys didn't get to enjoy their day. They got the battery issue fixed about the same time the power came back on. We had a great surprise, Tim our grandson drove all night from the Salt Lake City area for Father's Day. Granddaughter Patty and her boyfriend and his 2 year old boy spent the day with us along with Barbara's Dad, sister and her kids. Dinner was delayed because of the power outage but it was worth the wait. Yum, yum yum!
Monday, June 18th we left for British Columbia, only 5 days until we gather at Dawson Creek. We left Stacy's about 9 for our 187 mile drive to Penticton, BC we are staying at Wrights Beach CG, right on Skaha Lake in the Okanagan Valley. We passed through the heart of wine country there must have been 100's of wineries along the road. The weather is beautiful, a smidge hot but lots of blue sky.
That's it for tonight, enjoy the pic's.
