Day 13 Tok, Alaska July 5th

Mike, the owner of the park , told us the next 78 miles of road were going to be about the same as yesterday.  We felt like we were on Interstate 5 versus Top of the World Hwy.  The roads were mostly chip sealed, some gravel but seemingly few pot holes.  We left about 10, I saw my first moose (yesterdays photos) and got to Tok about noon.

Tok has a population of 1,435  and elevation is 1,635, compared to Chicken we were in a metropolis.

We fueled up before going into the park, we got 32.536 gallons, yes gallons, back in the USA. @ $3.479 for $113.13.  Before going to our sites we went to the car wash in the park for  had a car wash party!  Oh so much better, I think we washed off tons of dust.  Tok RV Village has all pull thru sites, full hook ups and 50 amp electricity. Wah hoo!  Several of us went to Fast Eddies for dinner, I got a small veggie pizza, I'll probably eat on it for days.

Just an overnight stop, that's it for today, enjoy the pic's.

TTFN,

Gary and Pam
